While modern media has brought great blessings to the church, it is no replacement of the church, and to treat it as such is very foolish. There is no accountability, no service to the body, and no identification with other Christians. Furthermore, there’s a whole host of biblical commands you can’t fulfill.
You can’t “serve one another” Galatians 5:13. You can’t “bear one another’s burdens” Galatians 6:2. You can’t “admonish one another in psalms” Colossians 3:16. You can’t “exhort one another” Hebrews 3:13. You can’t “consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works” Hebrews 10:24. And you have little opportunity to “love one another” 1 Peter 1:22.
If you are a part of the body of Christ, you are commanded to identify with a visible body in your community that knows, lives, and shares the gospel of Christ. So if you’re not in one, you need to find one.
